This document explains your cancellation rights and the period within which you must decide whether you wish to use Embrace Leasing's brokerage service.
Please note, this policy specifically relates to cancelling Embrace Leasing's brokerage service and does not relate to your cancellation rights with the finance provider of your lease deal.
(Applies to both regulated and unregulated agreements)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulated distance contracts (agreed online or over the phone) include a 14-day statutory cooling-off period.
This cooling-off period begins once you sign and submit your Embrace Leasing order form.
This policy sets out your rights and obligations when cancelling Embrace Leasing’s brokerage service. It does not relate to your cancellation rights under the finance agreement arranged with a third-party funder. Those rights are provided separately by the finance provider.
Embrace Leasing applies a £480 inc. VAT cancellation fee to all brokerage cancellations.
The £300 inc. VAT processing fee, taken at the point of order, is non-refundable.
All PCH charges include VAT. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulated customers benefit from a statutory 14-day cooling-off period, which begins on the day the Embrace Leasing order form is signed.
Although unregulated agreements do not fall under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, Embrace Leasing follows the same simple structure for consistency and transparency.
If you cancel within 14 days of submitting your order form, you may do so without giving a reason. The £300 inc. VAT processing fee will remain non-refundable, and the £400 + VAT cancellation fee will apply.
Unlike PCH, supplier or manufacturer charges may apply for BCH orders cancelled within 14 days, depending on the vehicle’s status, as business orders are treated differently by suppliers.
If you cancel more than 14 days after submitting your order form, the £300 inc. VAT processing fee will remain non-refundable, and the £400 + VAT cancellation fee will apply.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, either by post or by email. Your written notice must include your full name, address, and details of the order you wish to cancel.

Once your cancellation request is received, the brokerage contract will be deemed terminated, and the applicable cancellation charges set out in this policy will apply.
In rare circumstances beyond your control, such as manufacturer allocation changes, supply chain issues, or pricing amendments, Embrace Leasing may be required to cancel your order. Should this occur, the £300 inc. VAT processing fee will be refunded in full, and no cancellation fee will be charged. Refunds will be issued at the earliest opportunity and no later than 28 working days after receipt of your formal cancellation request.
